An early 2-0 lead for away side Essex Rangers ended up resulting in a 5-4 victory for the home side, Globall, in an enthralling, jaw-dropping, back and forth encounter between the two sides.

After numerous defeats against previous opponents and potential defeat looked like it was on the cards early on in the match, the home side were able to work together as a team to claim victory against their opponents.

They showed great hunger, passion, drive, effort and desire to be able to pull off this exceptional comeback as well as respond to Essex Rangers when they got equalisers.

The starting line-up consisted of Abdoul in between the sticks. The defence consisted of Adam at the heart of the defence, with Nicolas at left-back and Tyler on the opposite side as right-back. Te'Reon was given the role of holding central defensive-midfielder, with Ibrahim in front of him, in the No.10 role. Mason and Rayyan were given the roles as wingers and Dante made his 1st appearance in 3 months at the heart of the attack as No.9, after recovering from injury.

The deadlock was broken almost immediately after the whistle for the game had started, after No.11 was able to pick up a loose ball and hit a low drive that deflected off of Adam and got beyond Abdoul to give his side the lead.

Dante then had the 1st chance of the game for his side after getting the ball under control and was able to twist and turn away from players, but his shot went wide.

Te'Reon then had an audacious attempt from distance to equalise for Globall, after the ball fell kindly into his path, but his effort flashed just wide of the post.

Abdoul was then called into action and easily caught No.11's shot to deny him from doubling the lead for Essex Rangers and scoring his 2nd of the game.

The away side then scored a 2nd goal, after a persistent and powerful solo run from No.11 with the ball at his feet all the way down to the edge of Globall's penalty area. His pass into the box then fell to the feet of No.7 who tapped the ball into the back of the net through the legs of Rayyan.

No.11 then nearly added a 3rd for his side after attempting an audacious acrobatic shot on the edge of the penalty area, but Abdoul was able to easily catch the ball.

The home side then nearly reduced the deficit and give themselves hope of a comeback into the game. Adam whipped in a corner into the box that Nicolas flicked into the path of Mason who hit an effort straight at the keeper.

Kyle then whipped in a ball into the penalty area for Dante to latch onto, but his opportunity to do this was cleared at the very last second by the away side's defence.

Dante was then able to twist and turn three opponents and played a ball through into the path of Nicolas, who was denied his 1st goal for Globall and a route for a potential comeback for his side.

After persistent effort from the home side, Globall were able to reduce the deficit after Rayyan was able to give his side the hope and drive that they needed. He picked up a loose ball out wide and then crossed it into the path of the keeper who fumbled it, dropping it into his net.

Just before the end of the 1st half, Nicolas was able to equalise, scoring his 1st goal for Globall after being two goals down early on in the match; Dante won the ball back from the opponents deep in his own half and played a pass into Nicolas who combined with Kyle to then slot home with a cute finish.

At the start of the 2nd half, No.11 had the 1st effort of the half that was easily caught by Abdoul.

Adam then had an audacious attempt with a free kick from distance that nearly caught out the goalkeeper, however his foot denied Adam the exceptional shot.

After being two goals behind, the Tigers showed real fight and grit as they were able to overturn the 2-0 deficit to lead 3-2. Dante was able to dummy No.6 outwide, get beyond him and play a cross into Kyle, who then struck the ball with real venom, deflecting beyond the keeper and into the back of the net.

Almost immediately after Globall scored their 3rd goal of the game, Essex Rangers then hit back instantly after going behind with No.11s effort finding the back of the net.

Kimani came off the bench and had two attempts in the same passage of play to put his side back into the lead, both blocked by the defence.

Abdoul then pulled off a magnificent, instinctive save to keep his side level and deny the opponents re-taking the lead.

Te'Reon then had an effort at goal similar to the one that he had in the 1st half, which flashed just wide of the goal, like the 1st attempt.

Kimani then had another effort at goal from wide that just missed, as he was desperate to make his mark on the game from the bench.

No.11 then had the chance to put his side back in the lead for a 2nd time in the match, after a through ball from out wide fell into his path leaving him 1-on-1 with Abdoul, but his attempt at goal was always rising over the bar.

Tyler then had a chance at goal where he picked up the ball from deep inside his half and drove beyond players and was only just denied a brilliant goal.

No.6 from the defence of Essex Rangers then attempted an audacious acrobatic effort from a free-kick whipped into his path, but Abdoul was able to parry the ball away from danger.

Kyle was nearly on the end of a brilliant ball into the box from Rayyan, but his cross was cleared at the last second by the away side's defence.

Abdoulthen pulled off a magnificent save, using his fingers to tip a free kick onto the bar, with Tyler clearing the next attempt on the line.

From this, Abdoul was able to retain the ball, hoofing it into the path of Kyle. He had a lot of work to do, but was able to get the ball under control and strike a wicked shot beyond the keeper's reach to put his side ahead for a 2nd time in the game.

Again, almost instantly after Globall took the lead, No.11 was played through on goal and levelled for his side for a 2nd time in the match, hitting the ball through Abdoul's legs. It seemed a foul took place where one of Globall's players was blatantly pushed by No.6, which then ultimately led to the goal.

Kyle came close to scoring a hat-trick and putting his side in the lead for a 3rd time in the match, after both his pace and strength got him into that position, but his attempt at goal flashed over the bar.

The home side then managed to score the winner with luck on their side, when a superb corner into the box from Adam deflected off of the head of No.6 and into the goal, giving Globall a 5-4 lead.

Just before the end of the match, Ibrahim had a chance to get his name on the scoresheet after his attempt flashed just wide of the post.

Kimani nearly made it six for his side after he saw the goalkeeper not concentrating and almost caught him out, but the keeper was alert to the danger, parrying the ball onto the crossabr.

The game went the way of Globall, where they were able to overturn a 2-0 deficit early on into a 5-4 victory.

Despite huge mistakes that could have proven costly, the team were able to work together to claim their 1st win after the restart of football from lockdown and gain some momentum for upcoming opponents.

Dante: Returned to action with his 1st game in three months. Was a menace out wide, as he provided an assist for Kyle's 1st and Globall's 3rd goal. He linked extremely well with the attack, playing numerous passes into his teammates and was unselfish on numerous occasions.
